Scout – Auto Takeoff

On this page, we will take a look at performing an Automatic Takeoff.

The Launcher should pick up the Scout above your head with their index finger in the finger hold while using their other fingers to stabilize. Never put body parts near the propeller when the battery is plugged in!

 Using your left hand, switch to Auto mode. Pixhawk will delay 4 seconds and then start the motor. Wait until the motor is turning and throw the Scout forward at about a 20 degree incline relative to level.
