In this section we’ll look at exactly what each LED status represents.

When a blue LED is shown the companion computer is turning on and beginning to connect with the camera.

When a green LED is shown this means there are no pending images to transfer and the companion computer is ready to either capture images or safely remove the USB stick after a flight.

The red LED has two separate statuses.

  1. If the light is solid red this means images are still processing and waiting to be geo-tagged.
  2. If the light is flashing red this means there is a mis-configuration.

Possible mis-configurations include:

  1. Incorrect camera wireless details.
  2. Full storage on the cameras internal SD card
  3. No SD card inserted into the camera
  4. Removal of USB stick before flight
