In this section, we will take a look at mapping with the Sony Qx1. You’ll want to begin by plugging your Qx1 trigger cable into the appropriate Aux Out ports on the autopilot.
Aux Out 5: Trigger (brown, orange, and red cable)
Aux Out 4: Turns the camera on (black, red, and white cable)
Aux Out 3: Checks if the camera is powered on (brown, orange, and red cable)
Plug the USB cable coming from the inside of the E384 into the QX1.
Next, ensure that the SD card is inserted with the lettering on the card facing the inside of the QX1.
Insert the camera battery located inside the E384 into the QX1.
Close the lid of the camera while slipping the battery cable through the rubber flap of the QX1 lid.
Insert the QX1 into the camera mount.
Fasten the QX1 to the mount using the large screw included with your camera.
The QX1 is now ready for flight!
We can now continue to find the Center of Gravity.
